Wow, close to $400,000 for a municipality website? I’d like to think that the city doesn’t waste tax dollars like that (i.e., I hope they didn’t take that bid)…
Think we may have to move into the municipality area with those quotes!
Liked the story… I don’t think that who ever wrote the story understood the part about search engine optimization.
Great video, I’m looking forward to seeing Chattanooga’s website when it’s done.

Don’t worry, in Romania a website for our government costed about 2,5 million of euros. So this is quite cheap:)
Cronyism, is that what such things are called? Thank you tax-payers, you financed my next trip to the Bahamas
I would love to make a website and then sell it for USD 400,000.
I can´t understand why a website can be so expensive!!
It just seems to be the case that when you’re spending someone else’s money (ir the taxpayers) you don’t care.
That being said, many government websites need a lot of functionality which is well above the needs of a normal website.
$400k doesn’t sound too far above the mark for me depending on what they did with it!!
Can you believe that some people just do this for a job! To make that kind of money must be an amazing achievement! where do i sign up?
Making a website worth this much would be awesome. All it takes is a great mind to think up the next big idea and another 400 thousand dollar website will be made.
Congrats. If you’re an expert on TV, you made it
But you’ve earned it.
400 thou? thats just fine for a government agency. hope i can deal like that one
$400K. What in the world are they thinking? If they selected that quote they should all be run out of office. I could see spending $4000 but noway $400K. That is just nuts!
