Chattanooga Web Design & SEO Company

MCA of Chattanooga, TN Launches New WebsiteWe have completed the Web design and development phase for the new MCA | Mike Collins & Associates. (See our previous post on MCA.) To refresh your memory a bit: MCA is an IT Solutions providers located in Chattanooga, Tennessee with additional offices in Nashville and Knoxville. MCA approached Abraxas to design and develop a new and modern site to replace their old flash based website.

We had a couple of design goals when we started:

  • Contemporary design with logical navigation that most users would be familiar with
  • Clear call to action for new and existing users
  • Extend MCA’s brand from their print marketing to the Website
  • Animation on the homepage without the use of Flash

We also had some administration goals to keep in mind. MCA’s old Website did not lend itself to updating or changes without a significant amount of involvement from many parties.

Administration Goals:

  • Content Management System (CMS) for editing and adding content with ease by staff
  • Management of the homepage slideshow from the CMS with the ability to create an advertisement within the slideshow and direct the user to more information with a click.
  • Multiple administrative users
  • Integrated blogging system for news and updates from MCA

We were able to meet all of goals for the project and deliver a Website to MCA that the can use to extend their brand for years to come with a low cost of maintenance.

WOW.. Sleek design. The best any IT company would desire to have it as their webpage. The layout is neat and the navigation is pretty simple yet powerful. Incredible guys. The administrative goals you set is not an easy task, congratulations on achieving it in a fashionable manner. We would like to see the live version up very soon. Solid effort. :)

Clean and crisp! This looks very sleek and formal. I would not have it any other way. I have been going through a garage sale looking at webpage books and magazines, i like the old look, but this one is definitely a winner!

The design is contemporary indeed. The best the firm can have. Its simple and easy to navigate which helps viewers a lot. What CMS have you installed on the website? Please throw some light on that part.

I really like the MCA site redesign. It’s just my opinion, but I feel that Flash does not mix very well with corporate websites. It’s way to easy for things to get over animated and busy. Corporate identities work best if they are uncluttered and streamlined. I feel like you guys have succeeded in this respect. Well done.
